Acquiring BL can be complicated, because some older BL is hard to find when you want to buy it in English. Sometimes it can be very pricey as well. But at the same time these authors deserve money for their work that they have put in. They don’t deserve to just have their work passed around willy-nilly like that either. I’d say it’s more accessible especially now. I can get physical copies of stuff especially for Japanese BL manga in various bookstores if I look. So I think it’s fairly easy.
